Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto Identity Revealed, New Documentary Claims

Documentary claims

HBO has created a new documentary that reveals the identity of Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. It will air on Tuesday, presenting more evidence. The HBO documentary claims it has identified the person behind Bitcoin; Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity has been unveiled after 14 years. Recently, reports indicate that 250 Bitcoin, worth $15 million, were transferred from dormant wallets that have remained untouched since 2009. Satoshi Nakamoto and QAnon authors are the topics of Cullen Hoback’s film and his documentary on the former came after he exposed the people behind this conspiracy theory.

Last week, a miniseries about the enigmatic Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto ended, but a new HBO documentary is forthcoming next week. Socially adept man, featuring the America’s Next Great Author talks about the true identity of the individual behind the famous virtual currency, the Bitcoin. Alternatively, if we believe the findings, this discovery would have massive implications for global cryptocurrency markets as well as political discourses.

Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto Documentary

The program that is scheduled for release on Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST has promised to reveal who is behind the invention of Bitcoin. Hoback who allegedly used to work on exposing the authors of the QAnon movement has suggested the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, aka Craig Wright, who has been concealing the person behind the creation of the crypt currency since 2009.

The documentary sources claim to show some new evidence, but it does not mention what that evidence is.

Bitcoin, started in the domain of cryptography as a rather strange idea, has become a $1t asset class with its promoter or originator still unpublished. The real identity of the creator of the Bitcoin or the one known by the nom de plume of Satoshi Nakamoto has earned so much attention for the reason that people in different parts of the world are still using BTC as money and/or an investing instrument.

Increased Activity in Early Bitcoin Wallets

In recent past, there emerged some form of activity in some of the early BTC wallets that had been dormant for a while. According to the sources, at the current exchange price, individuals transferred 250 BTC worth $15 million today from addresses that have not been active since 2009.

The investigation found no relation to Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, but the activation of these wallets is interesting, especially in relation to the timing of the documentary’s release.

The recent estimates claiming that the creator of the BTC holds 1.1 million Bitcoins and if he still owns them – is among the richest men in the world. As the concern for this documentary grows this market and anyone who has an interest in Bitcoin is keenly watching any activity on these first Bitcoin addresses.

Past Attempts to Identify Satoshi Nakamoto

In the past, researchers have attempted to identify who is responsible for creating BTC. Back in 2014, a journalist named Leah McGrath Goodman proposed that Japanese-American Dorian Nakamoto was behind the creation of the name, but he denied. ,In September 2015, an Australian man named Craig Steven Wright claimed to be the creator of bitcoin but up to date he has not provided information that can convince anyone. Back in January the English court made a decision stating that Mr.Wright is not Satoshi – case is now off the table.

Several theories link the creation of Bitcoin to individuals like Hal Finney, the first person to receive Bitcoins as a gift, and computer science engineer Nick Szabo, who contributed to cryptographic currencies. However, no one has seriously proposed any of these individuals as the true identity behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

Despite the supposed correlation between the them, there is a split in the Bitcoin community about attempts to reveal the identity of the system’s alleged author. Others said they should remain hidden as some believe the creator of the meme purposely decided to be anonymous. One critic was Peter McCormack, a Bitcoin podcaster who said that although he hadn’t watched the documentary, the messages in the show were ‘fascinating.’
